Terms and conditions for Submission

  1. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.
  2. Decisions regarding acceptance are ultimately the responsibility of the Programme Chair.  All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. If your submission is accepted you will be notified in the autumn.
  4. Due to limitations of programme space, it is unlikely that more than one first authored paper/poster or workshop will be accepted.  You may, however submit multiple submissions from the same group or organisation.
  5. Your abstract must be your original work and your proposal must not have been published, nor presented at another professional meeting.
  6. If your abstract is accepted, at least one author must agree to appear at the conference for presentation.
  7. All presenters and attendees must register for the conference and pay the appropriate fees.
  8. Oral presentations are allotted either 20 minutes or 90 minutes depending on the type of presentation.  This time includes time for questions. The poster session is allotted 45 minutes, though posters will be on display throughout the day. Please take note of the guidelines for presentations.
  9. All accepted abstracts will be published on the BDA websites and in conference proceedings and will be available for use by the BDA after the conference. 
  10. If your presentation is accepted you have the option to include it on the special conference CD-ROM, which will be published shortly after the conference.
