Poster Competition

Presenters of interactive papers (excluding senior researchers) are warmly invited to enter the conference poster competition. As the theme of this year’s conference is ‘Beyond Boundaries’, the steering group are pleased to announce the following prizes:

• Conference theme prize:  £200 cash and a years free membership of the BDA will be awarded to a presenter who successfully demonstrates they are seeking to extend the boundaries of dyslexia research or develop innovative practice 

• Open prize:  A further ‘open’ prize of £100 cash and a years free membership of the BDA will be awarded for the poster that conference delegates judge to be of exceptionally high merit both in terms of content and presentation style.

Entries should be visually appealing and concisely written, enabling the reader to clearly understand the nature of the issues under investigation. For additional information, please refer to the conference guidelines for constructing poster presentations.

Presentations to be considered for the conference theme prize should be formatted as either a microsoft powerpoint or pdf file, and should be submitted as an e-mail attachment to Rebecca Larkin (rebecca.larkin@ntu.ac.uk). Deadline for submissions is 22nd April 2011. Authors should include the term 'beyond boundaries' as the e-mail subject with the presenting author's name. The same information should appear in the filename of the attached poster.

The prize winners will be announced during the conference.
