Abstract
This presentation will use the research findings from my doctoral research to offer a theoretical model for addressing the needs of vulnerable pupils who have dyslexia and experience behavioural difficulties, taking a learning organisation perspective to give insights into how teachers and senior practitioners can develop and implement problem solving approaches. The presentation will focus on the underlying causes of behavioural difficulties, early identification of learning difficulties through effective assessment and understanding of the individual's development, and how classes and schools as organisations can utilise the knowledge and skills of all their members to address a wide range of needs for both pupils and teacher-practitioners.
